this is a phrase that is used often . meeh & my CuriousGeorge ass wanted to know where the hell it came from . idk why , but thas just how i am .
apparently there are rare occasions in which the moon appears to be blue , hence the reason we say it . who would ever think that the moon actually appeared blue every once in a while ? not Ree . but anyways , this "blue moon" thing occurs about every two years . so is it safe to say we can use "once in a blue moon" as another term for every two years ?
